The heartthrob actor came to the timeline around the showbiz industry of Bangladesh when appeared in his first movie ‘Amar Ghor Amar Behest’ in 1997.  Since 2010, Shakil is away from acting in the cinema and associated with business as well as social work. He was so much passionate about the media arena from early childhood and eventually turned his career into the showbiz arena. Now, he is a familiar face in the showbiz industry of Bangladesh. Shakil was a regular actor in the cinema during the golden time of the Bangladesh film industry.

Shakil Khan made his debut in the film industry with the movie ‘Amar Ghor Amar Behest’ in 1997 with co-actress Popy. The movie created a fierce stir enough at the Dhallywood box office and the actor draws the attention of the audience and critics by his terrific acting performance. Then Shakil appeared in the movie ‘Ei Mon Tomake Dilam’ in the same year. This year, he made an outstanding performance in several movies including Amar Bou, Praner Priyotoma, Maa Jokhon Bicharok, Moger Mulluk, Nareer Mon, and Paharadhar.
