Tamim Iqbal is an excellent opening batsman in the Bangladesh team who made back to back hundred against Pakistan in Mirpur in 2015. Tamim was born on March 20, 1989, in Chittagong to the father, Iqbal Khan and mother Nusrat Iqbal. His family is prestigious around the port city. His family is also well-known for cricket. Because his father was very much fond of about cricket, Tamim’s elder brother was a national team player; and uncle was the national team captain and present prime selector of the national team.

Tamim Iqbal Career:

He made his ODI debut against Zimbabwe on 9 February 2007 and Test debut against New Zealand on 4 January 2008. T20 debut is on 1 September 2007 against Kenya. He is regarded as the best dashing batsman around the countryside. His absolutely magnificent dashing batting style attracted to the crowd very much. He showed his terrific performance against India by doing maiden World Cup fifty in 2007. Tamim is the third-youngest player to reach 1,000 Test runs after Sachin Tendulkar and compatriot Mohammad Ashraful. According to Wisden Cricketer Magazine Tamim Iqbal selected as the best player in October 2010.
